Halle Berry celebrated her 17-year-old daughter Nahla’s early acceptance into college with a cake sprinkled with pink frosting and confetti.
“Yay done Nala!!” wrote the cake posted on the “Monster’s Ball” star’s Instagram Story on Sunday.
“Congratulations to my sweet angel Nala for getting into college early!” Berry wrote above the post.
‘Catwoman’ star – shares Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry. Maceo Robert, 12, her son with ex-husband Olivier Martinez, revealed over the summer that her eldest daughter is preparing to go to university.
“She’s 17 years old. She’s in a college summer program, which is the college she wants to go to next year,” Berry said on “Today with Jenna & Friends” in June.
“She is going to a university summer program this year,” she added.
Oscar winner Berry said he was “worried” about Nahla, but said he was “excited” to find out what Nahla will do next.
“I can’t wait to see who she becomes, what she does, and what she discovers,” the “BAPS” actress confessed.
Since welcoming Nahla in 2008 and Olivier in 2013, Berry has posted few photos of her children online.
In 2019, the “X-Men” star said “I don’t think it’s right” to “paste” her children online.
“They’re going to be right away. It’s going to be their life when they grow up, and they’re going to choose when it starts,” she said on the “Today” show at the time.
“I’ve fought hard to protect their privacy. I just want them to have their own lives and make it their own.”
