Gabourey Sidibe’s family is spending quality time together this holiday season.
On Thursday, Dec. 25, the actress’ husband Brandon Frankel shared several photos on Instagram of the family of four celebrating Christmas together. The foursome were seen wearing matching pajamas featuring blue, turquoise and yellow patterns. Sidibe was seen holding one of the twins and Frankel the other.
Frankel and Sidibe have 20-month-old twins, Cooper and Maya.
“Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Frankel family! (sic)! To continue our annual tradition, this year we dressed everyone in African print family pajamas in honor of @gabbysidibe, the queen of African print!” Frankel wrote in the caption.
“As she says, ‘This is our Super Bowl.’ I was probably more excited about them getting all the presents than I was about them being awake,” he continued. “They’re so big now and it’s their second Christmas that they understand more of what’s going on. These three are the gifts I need. And don’t worry, we’re throwing in Chinese food, which is a Jewish tradition (lol) ❤️🥰.”

In November, Sidibe shared a photo on Instagram of her twins, Cooper and Maya, visiting her on the set of a new project she is directing. In the photo, she was standing next to the director’s chair while holding both of her twins.
“The twins visited me on set the other day. They aren’t allowed to look at the screen yet,” she captioned the post.
In his comments, Sidibe’s husband expressed his love for his wife. “It’s such an honor to see them visit you at work and at the same time you’re the boss lady and the best mom ❤️🥹.”
Frankel also shared a photo from the set visit on her Instagram, expressing how proud she was of her.
“So happy the twins and I were able to travel around the country and reunite while mom @gabbysidibe is directing a new movie,” she captioned the post. “It was magical to see them light up when we saw her after a few weeks without her (aside from daily FaceTime and videos). 🥹❤️ We are so proud of you!!”
Back in April, Frankel and Sidibe celebrated their twins’ first birthday. The father-of-two shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, along with several photos of himself and his young children from their big day.
Both twins wore costumes to mark the occasion, with Cooper wearing a blue costume with a matching bow tie and Maya wearing a pink unicorn costume with numbers on the bottom.
“Happy first birthday, Cooper and Maya!” the proud dad wrote in the caption. “I can’t believe it’s been a whole year of loving you. You make mom and me so proud every day! You are such cheerful, sweet, well-behaved babies.”
“It’s been a pleasure getting to know you both and helping you grow into little miniature humans. Walking, talking, dancing, hugging, kissing, asking for songs, calling all animals ‘cat!’ and eating big human food, it’s just the best,” he continued. “And we can’t wait to watch you continue to learn, grow, and explore the world. We love being your parents – the best is yet to come! Happy year, my love ❤️😭🎉🎂🎈🎁.”
