Madgic Distribution, a children’s programming distributor based in Paris, has secured many new sales across animation and live action slate.
Madgic Distribution, formerly APC Kids and now part of the French Madgic Group, sold many shows to PCCW in Hong Kong for free channels in the country, including “Nitso and the Very Hairy Alphabet,” produced by Eagle Eye Filmproduktion in a collaboration with Kika and GS Animation. “Lana Longbead” was produced by Madgic’s production arm Zephyr and Copernicus Studios. Season 2 of SVOD service Nowtv follows the success of season 2 and season 1 of Kelebek Media’s “Isadora Moon” and TeamTo’s action comedy series “Jade Armor.”

Both TVO Canada and ABC Australia have won “Isadora Moon” and CBBC’s live-action series “High Hoops.”
In separate deals, Madgic distribution sold “Jade Armor” season 2 to RTBF Belgium, Canadian Telequebec and British tales.
“We are extremely proud to continue our incredible relationship with our broadcast partners as we head to our first MIP Junior as Madgic Distribution,” said Managing Director Lionel Marty. “We have a real appetite for high-quality animated and live-action series, and as many of our shows have found new homes for major international broadcasters, it’s a testament to the great producers we work for.”
French media group Madgic recently acquired APC Kids, the children’s distribution division for premium content, and rebranded it as Madgic’s distribution.
Marty, who led the APC Kids, continued to helm Madgic Distribution. The company’s catalog consists of over 1,800 episodes of the 50+ Children and Youth series, including animations and live-action shows of all ages, including titles such as “Angelo Rule,” “Emerald,” “Hawa & Adam,” and “Walter’s Christmas.”
The Madgic Group, led by Jean-Michel Spiner, was founded in 2022 through a two-minute merger of Animation Studios and was labeled Animalin.
Madgic Distribution is one of many leading animation distributors to announce their current lineup at this year’s Unifrance Rendez-vous at Le Havre, starting September 1st.
