Dolly Parton’s sister Frida Parton is cleaning the air after she says she “prays all night” for the country icon’s recovery.
“I want to clear something,” the 68-year-old Freida wrote in a social media post on Tuesday evening, October 7th.
Freida made clear that Dolly “I simply asked for prayer because I believe in the weather a little down and the power of prayer. It was just a young sister who wanted prayer for her sister.”
She then thanked Dolly fans for “lifting her up.” He added that their love “really makes a difference.”
Earlier on Tuesday, Frida said, “Last night, I was praying for my sister Dolly all night. Many of you know she hasn’t felt the best of her lately. I really believe in the power of prayer.
Freida concluded her message with a heart emoji, saying, “She is strong and loved, and all prayers are lifted for her. I know she will be well in my heart.

Dolly, 79, postponed his Las Vegas residency last week due to an unspecified illness. The Nashville icon announced that she will push back performances for almost a year to focus on her health.

“As many people know, I’ve dealt with some health challenges, and my doctor says I need to have some steps. When I joked with them, it should be my 100,000 medical check-up time, but it’s not a trip to meet my plastic surgeon!” Dolly wrote in an Instagram post.
“Seriously, with this in mind, I wouldn’t be able to rehearse and put together the shows you want to see and the shows you want to see,” she continued. “You see good money to watch me perform and I want to be my best for you.”
The “Jolene” singer finished the note and said, “And don’t worry that I’m quieting the business because God hasn’t said anything about stopping yet.
Dolly was originally scheduled to appear in Las Vegas for a limited engagement at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from December.
