The Queen of Rock and Roll would be proud.

During her performance of “Gorgeous” at Vogue World: Hollywood in Los Angeles on Sunday night, Doja Cat paid homage to Tina Turner by wearing a bold-shoulder chainmail dress and sky-high platinum blonde wig, inspired by the late music icon’s look in the 1985 film Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

Doja’s outfit, created by costume designer Michael Schmidt, who has collaborated with Turner on numerous looks over the years, was covered in layers of sparkling silver rings, as were her matching Christian Louboutin heels.

Turner, who died in 2024 at the age of 83, recorded two songs for the film, “We Don’t Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)” and “One of the Living,” the latter of which won a Grammy Award.

Doja wasn’t the only superstar on the runway. Gracie Abrams also performed during the event, and Nicole Kidman opened the show in a Chanel dress inspired by Rita Hayworth in Gilda. Julia Garner, Angela Bassett and Hunter Shafer also graced the catwalk in movie-inspired fashion.

Staged on the Paramount Pictures Studios lot, “Vogue World: Hollywood” featured the work of Tinseltown’s top costume designers, including Colleen Atwood (“Edward Scissorhands”), Ruth E. Carter (“Black Panther”), Milena Canonero (“Marie Antoinette”) and Arianne Phillips (“Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”).

100% of the event’s ticket proceeds will be donated to the Entertainment Community Foundation, which focuses on supporting costuming professionals affected by the LA wildfires.
