Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, divorced just one month before their wedding.
According to TMZ, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback and wine expert had an argument during a joint bachelorette party in the Bahamas that led to it being called off.
According to the outlet, Ramos was the one who pulled the plug.
A representative for Prescott did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Ramos previously posted a series of photos from his bachelorette party with the caption, “I truly believe that you can overcome anything in life as long as you have truly amazing friends. I love these girls so much.”
A few weeks ago, the Florida State University graduate gushed on Instagram during her wedding in Italy that she “can’t wait to marry the love of my life.”
Both Instagram posts have since been deleted.
TMZ revealed that sources say it is impossible to repair their relationship and that the exes will instead focus on jointly co-parenting their daughters Margaret, 2, and Aurora, almost 10 months old.
Ramos and Prescott were first linked in September 2023 after the mother of two was spotted at one of the Cowboys’ games against the New York Giants during football season.
After the game, Ramos shared a shot of him hugging Prescott.
“#4 💙🩶,” she wrote above a photo of Ramos wearing a leather Cowboys jacket.
Ramos celebrated earning a $240 million, four-year contract extension in 2024, making the quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to NFL.com.
“The most deserving man, the best partner and father. We love you,” she wrote on her Instagram Story shortly after the news broke.
According to USA Today, Prescott and Ramos welcomed their first child together in February of the same year, and Prescott told reporters at a Children’s Cancer Foundation event at the time that she “feels different.”
“When you wake up in the morning and see your baby, you know the responsibility,” he continued. “And everything I’ve always wanted for myself, but you want it even more for someone else.”
In October 2024, Prescott shared an Instagram Story with Ramos, who was 7 months old at the time, asking the question.
In the photo, the ex-girlfriends hugged and kissed Margaret, who was wearing a onesie that read, “Hello Mummy, Do you have a question for Daddy?”
“4ever w/ @sarahjane,” Prescott wrote.
The proposal came during the team’s bye week.
“I’m very excited,” Prescott told reporters. “I’ve known that for a while. … I got the ring a few months ago. She didn’t know. She’s a big golfer and thought we were going to golf. I told her we were going to play golf for the rest of our lives.”
“I had a ring inside a fake golf ball,” he elaborated. “I dropped it. She almost hit me. I’m so happy that she said that. I’m very, very blessed and happy. I’m grateful for this family that I started.”
