Claudia Winkleman, who is a very well-known face in the UK and currently hosts ‘The Traitors’ and also hosts ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, will have her own talk show.
The Claudia Winkleman Show has been officially commissioned by the BBC and is scheduled to start in spring 2026.
According to the BBC, the seven-episode show will feature Winkleman “bringing together some of the biggest names in film, television and music to his sofa and engaging them in lively conversations with the help of a studio audience.”
Mr Winkleman said: “It’s completely unbelievable and I’m incredibly grateful to the BBC for giving me this amazing opportunity.” “Obviously, it’s going to be terrible, but I’m very happy they let me try.”
“The Claudia Winkleman Show” is produced by Thor Television, which also produces “The Graham Norton Show” and “Little Owl.”
“Claudia is a true national treasure – warm, witty and endlessly funny,” said BBC Entertainment Board Editor Kalpna Patel-Knight. “She has an uncanny ability to put people at ease and bring out the best in them, whether they are global superstars or audiences.”
Graham Stewart, managing director of Thor Television, added: “Graham Norton has made the Friday night talk show slot an amazing appointment to watch. How could we follow that? By booking an equally talented presenter. We were able to do that.”
The Claudia Winkleman Show is produced by Thor Television and Little Owl for BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It was commissioned by Patel-Knight. Executive producers are Stuart and Ruth Phillips. The BBC’s Commissioning Editor is Neil McCallum.
ITV Studios sells The Claudia Winkleman Show worldwide.
