The alarm will sound.
Christina Aguilera has regained her iconic look from the 2002 “Dirty” music video from the chart-top “Dirty” music video.
The 44-year-old singer recreated the steamy Y2K outfit when she took to the stage at the Portra Festival in San Francisco on Saturday, performing a fan-favorite hit for more than 20 years since its release.
She paid tribute to the song from her hit album “Strippidp” by sports the wrapped black bodysuit, paired with silver chaps and fishnet tights.
Aguilera was decorated with silver jewelry and sunglasses, wearing her blonde hair long and straight, just like she returned to the day.
The ensemble appears to be a high version of her signature style in the era of her career, although she wore it in the music video.
Aguilera worked with costume designer Trish Summerville during the “Dilati” era, who was in charge of leather chaps along the exterior of the singer’s many other early Arches red carpets. It is unclear if she worked with Summerville for the appearance of this revival.
In 2022, the five-time Grammy Award winner reflected some of her most iconic outfits over her decades career, naming her fashion era as Summerville and one of her favorites.
“I was starting to get out of the shells a little…it was when I started to express who I was,” Aguilera told Vogue at the time.
Her “Dirty” era was so iconic that other trend-setting celebrities have led their style in recent years.
Kylie Jenner dressed up as the pop star in the 2016 Halloween “Dirty” music video, barely recreating the scarftop look from the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards.
The former “voice” coach dropped Jaws across the country when she presented Eminem with the “best male video” in a revealing outfit, and the 28-year-old Jenner created the same wave in 2021.
Her homage to Aguilera was courtesy of Jean Paul Gaultier, with the small top being part of a vintage gown covered in colorful portraits. Despite the lack of fabric, the top retailed for a whopping $1,995.
This isn’t the only revival look the “Candyman” diva has recently done. In July she revived the iconic green lace-up corset dress she modeled 22 years ago in a Versace advertising campaign.
She wore a vintage number featuring a handkerchief hem to participate in Burlesque: Musical, a stage adaptation of the 2010 film Burlesque.
Aguilera was the muse of an Italian fashion house in 2003 and still does justice to the brand.
