Bunny Zoe has finally addressed her shocking divorce from Jelly Roll after 10 years of marriage.
“J and I were never very good at disagreements. So we were the type of couple that never argued. So he was holding things back and I was holding things back, and that’s a recipe for disaster,” Bunny said on Thursday’s episode of the Dumb Blonde podcast.
“We always preached that we have to be comfortable having uncomfortable conversations, and we did that for eight years. Then in the last year and a half, we kind of moved away from that because we’re living different lives now.”
Bunny went on to recall their final argument on Mother’s Day, when she was told to “file for divorce.”
“On Mother’s Day, we had a little argument, but I don’t think I need the details. And I was so fed up and tired from that argument that I just looked at him and said, ‘Then file for divorce,'” she said.
“In our relationship, that’s the one important thing you don’t say, even though my husband has said it many times,” she noted. “But when I say that, it really carries weight, because I’m not the type to say things I don’t mean.”
The conversation ended with Bunny packing her bags and saying goodbye to the Grammy winner, she said.
The “Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetically” host added that their IVF journey also took a toll on their marriage.
“During the last two years of deciding to have a baby, I had to go through IVF. My hat’s off to all the women, families and couples who are going through IVF, because let me tell you this, this is one of the loneliest, darkest journeys you’ll ever go on,” she said, adding that the process “completely destroyed” her.
“Yes, everyone will see a reward at the end, but it’s not all additive. It’s not a pretty journey,” Bunny continued. “It devastated me emotionally, mentally and physically. Being on this IVF journey for the past year and a half has left me a shell of the person I used to be. I’m fighting so hard just to know that I can produce enough eggs to have a baby with my husband, especially at my age.”
The process was made even more difficult as she revealed that Jelly Roll had to take “a lot of hormones and a lot of medication, which made him a horrible nightmare to be around” because of his “low sperm count.”
Bunny went on to reveal that the couple had “lost four unborn children” through their experience.
“We went through three hospital transfers, and we lost the two twins we were trying to have, and then we lost the other two. And for anyone who goes through that and has to deal with a miscarriage, it’s heartbreaking. It’s so heartbreaking,” she confessed.
On Monday, news broke that Jelly Roll, 41, quietly ended his and Bunny Zoe’s marriage on May 18, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup, Page Six confirmed.
The country singer filed for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee, where he was living with the 46-year-old host of the “Dumb Blonde” podcast.
The former lovers agreed to divide assets and debts.
Movers were photographed in front of the estranged couple’s home in Tennessee on Monday, but it’s unclear whose belongings were being packed.
The “Wild Ones” crooner, real name Jason Bradley Deford, hinted at trouble in paradise when he refused to wear his wedding ring while performing at the 2026 CMA Fest in Nashville earlier this month.
Eagle-eyed fans on social media also noticed that he had been hanging up his ring since around February or March.
As for Bunny (real name Alisa Deford), she compares her ex to a trash can in a cheeky video of herself in a revenge outfit, captioning it: “When it doesn’t fit, it’s my gut feeling.”
Additionally, the internet personality shared a photo of herself posing in lingerie just before news of their breakup broke.
Jelly Roll and Bunny married in Las Vegas in 2016, but briefly separated in 2018.
The two subsequently reconciled and renewed their vows in 2023.
The “Somebody Save Me” singer previously admitted that he had an affair with his estranged wife before getting sober from hard drugs.
