Brittany Cartwright is hopeful that her and Jax Taylor’s messy divorce will finally be finalized in the coming weeks.
According to Us Weekly, the reality star revealed during Friday’s “The Valley” panel at BravoCon 2025 that she is “praying” that her divorce will be finalized by December.
Ms Cartwright, 36, went on to claim that Taylor was “putting up with it”, adding that she had tried for 10 years hoping that Taylor would change, but nothing had happened.
On a more positive note, she told the audience that she is enjoying life as a single mom to her and Taylor’s four-year-old son, Cruise, and is “definitely” finding her “sparkle” again.
Representatives for Mr. Taylor could not immediately be reached for comment to Page Six.
During a panel discussion, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum teased that season 3 of “The Valley” will be “lighter” and “more fun” since her ex-girlfriend left the show.
“I’m really glad I didn’t get harassed all season,” Cartwright continued. “I’m glad I took time off to focus on myself and my son. It was a great experience.”
The former couple separated in February 2024. Mr Cartwright said he would “never forgive” Mr Taylor, 46, who refuses to leave the house and appears to deny the separation.
The Kentucky native filed for divorce from Taylor in August 2024 after five years of marriage, but Cartwright claimed he encountered several obstacles that prevented the divorce from being finalized.
In October 2024, Taylor refiled her divorce petition due to several errors made in the previous filing on her behalf.
The former model claimed that he and his estranged wife were not legally married and gave her full legal and physical custody of their son.
Cartwright has not been able to file for divorce, but continues to date.
She was recently linked to Brandon Hanson after he was spotted packing on the PDA while on vacation in Mexico in August.
However, Cartwright revealed on the podcast “When Reality Hits” last month that they had broken up and that he is currently single.
“We were very good friends before we started dating,” she explained. “It was kind of a whirlwind relationship. It came out into the public eye faster than we had hoped.”
The reality star revealed that she and her now ex-boyfriend “really care about each other” and ended “amicably.”
