Britney Spears was spotted out and about in Los Angeles with a champagne flute after expressing concern over her recent erratic behavior.
The “Toxic” singer was spotted holding a drink after leaving Stonehouse Wine Bar in Westlake Village, Calif., on Tuesday, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
Spears’ team insisted to the Daily Mail that the pop star did not drink any alcohol during the rare outing.
A representative for Spears did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment, and the restaurant could not be reached. However, the singer slammed the photo in an Instagram video she shared on Thursday.
She called the paparazzi “incredibly mean,” saying they always take the “worst pictures” of her and that she “couldn’t go anywhere” without being harassed. “It’s very uncomfortable,” she added.
Images of the ‘Crossroads’ actress showed her leaving the wine bar and heading to her car while being escorted by one of the wine bar’s staff members.
Spears, 34, tried to keep a low profile by wearing sunglasses and a white lace scarf on her head.
She completed her look with a brown plaid blazer layered over a cropped lace shirt and low-rise blue jeans. Spear also comes with brown heels and a taupe handbag.
As for her glamour, Spears wore bright red lipstick and styled her hair in messy waves around her face.
The “Gimme More” singer’s wine bar jaunt comes amid growing concerns about Spears’ health.
Last month, Spears made headlines after she was seen driving erratically after a night out with friends. She was seen swerving into another lane after leaving the Red O Restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California.
A source told the Daily Mail at the time that Spears was “driven into a corner” by ex-husband Kevin Federline’s shocking new memoir, You Thought You Knew.
“She is in a vicious cycle. Old wounds are being reopened,” the source claimed.
Spears defended herself in a bizarre social media post, claiming, “In case anyone was wondering if that lookalike wasn’t me…🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤓.”
A source said Spears’ loved ones are extremely concerned about her “horrible” behavior.
“There’s a lot of discussion about what to do if something happens. How can we protect her from herself?” the source said.
Federline’s confession — in which she accused her of cheating and taking cocaine while breastfeeding her sons — was made public on October 21. The former couple, who were married from 2004 to 2007, have children Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.
Spears denied Federline’s claims, calling his words “very hurtful” and “tiring.” She also accused him of “constant gaslighting.”
“White people in that book are lying. They just go to the bank, but I’m the only one who’s really hurt here,” she wrote to X.
Federline insisted in an interview last week that she only wants what’s best for the mother of her children and that her children are trying to mend their relationship with Spears.
“They really love their mom, right? I mean, they always have, always will,” he said. “It’s instilled in them. And I always wanted them to have the connection to their mother that I have to my mother.”
Federline won custody of Spears’ two children after her bankruptcy in the mid-2000s, after which she was placed under a restrictive conservatorship. This legal arrangement ended after 13 years in 2021.
