Billy Barratt, the rising British actor who received critical acclaim for his performance in the A24 horror film “Bring Her Back,” has signed with CAA.
“It was shocking to see a young actor like Barratt, who looks like Robert Pattinson, plunged so deeply into anxiety and fear,” Variety said of the Philippos brothers’ sequel to their blockbuster film Talk to Me.
The 18-year-old maid, who made his screen debut in 2016 with To Dream, made history in 2019 when he became the youngest person ever to win the International Emmy Award for Best Actor at the age of 13 for his role as Ray in the BBC drama Responsible Child. The film received two BAFTA nominations and found new success with its re-release on Netflix UK in 2025, where it remained at number one for two weeks.
Barratt’s additional film credits include Sony/Marvel’s “Kraven the Hunter,” Amazon/MGM Studios’ “My Spy: Eternal City,” Disney’s “The Crater,” “Blind by the Light” and “Mary Poppins Returns.”
He will next be seen alongside David Johnson, Cooper Hoffman and Paul Dano in India Donaldson’s second film, The Chaperones. The A24 road trip drama is produced by Plan B and Icki Eneo Arlo.
In the television world, Barratt is perhaps best known for his long-running role as “Casper Morrow” on Apple TV+’s sci-fi series “Invasion,” in which he played the central character for three seasons. He is also set to star as Dylan Sedgwick in George Kay’s upcoming series ‘Gone’.
Previous television work includes roles as Ralph Selfridge in ITV’s Mr. Selfridge, Prince Arthur in Starz’s The White Princess, and young Scrooge in FX’s A Christmas Carol, Alien and Sharknado 5.
Mr. Barratt continues to be represented by SYA, Ace MGMT and Stewart Brookman of Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Richman, Rush, Collar, Gelman, Meigs & Fox.
