Benny Blanco shared new photos from his wedding to Selena Gomez this afternoon. The shots included never-before-seen candid shots of the couple, as well as a touching moment between Gomez and Taylor Swift during the ceremony. Gomez previously shared a photo of Swift from their wedding in September.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have been married for over a month, but they still have plenty of wedding photos to share. Blanco posted a merry-go-round of never-before-seen shots on his Instagram this afternoon. “Promise me you’ll love me forever,” he captioned a gallery of photos taken by Sam Blake.
Blanco added some new looks for him and Gomez on their big day. But in the third slide, he slipped into a sweet moment between his wife and longtime friend Taylor Swift. The two women appeared hand in hand, with Gomez wearing the same Ralph Lauren lace dress she wore during the vow exchange.
Gomez previously shared a photo of herself and Swift from their wedding day. She wrote, “In honor of SHOWGIRL (Swift’s new album)…I’m so happy you’re still by my side after almost 20 years! Love you @taylorswift forever and forever.”
Swift gave a speech at Gomez and Blanco’s reception. In an interview on The Tonight Show in early October, the singer talked about watching Gomez get married and debunked rumors that she brought up her engagement to Travis Kelsey during her remarks.
“Not only was she the most elegant, gorgeous, and bride-to-be, I could see a vision of her that I had never seen before in my life,” she said. “I’ve never seen anything as beautiful as she was on her wedding day. And she deserves this happiness. Benny–he is. He’s so funny. He’s the best. So I gave a speech, but I actually decided not to say anything about the engagement.”
“I don’t want anyone to think, ‘I know it’s a wedding, but I’m[engaged],'” she continued. “You know, I was like, don’t mention that. You can flip[the engagement ring]over, you know what I mean? Today is her day, and we did a little bit of teasing about how we dressed in 2008, when we met, because we were teenagers, and 2008 was a pretty good year, so I’m telling you. We talked a little bit about 2008 and how happy I was for her and how beautiful it was. I couldn’t take it as my own, even though I could have been a part of her life.”
