Ashley Tisdale must have egg on her face.
Hilary Duff raved about members of her mom friend group after the “High School Musical” star slammed them with a scathing essay on The Cut.
Duff shared a photo of a large jar of soy eggs to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, tagging fellow mom group member Janice Gott.
“You’re the perfect person to deliver this (egg)!” Duff, 38, captioned the snap, adding a drooling face emoji.
Duff’s post hinted at continued collaboration with Gott and other members of the group, including Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor.
Tisdale, 40, infuriated the girl gang with a scathing essay titled “Farewell to the Toxic Mom Group” in The Cut published last week.
The “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” star claimed her moms had a “girly mean attitude” and excluded her from some gatherings.
She also claimed that she never felt like she was cool enough with them and eventually ended the relationship, texting the group chat, “It’s too high school for me and I don’t want to be in it anymore.”
Ms Tisdale, who has daughters Jupiter, 4, and Emerson, 1, with husband Christopher French, explained that the group’s “vitality” was “no longer healthy and positive”.
Notably, she disappeared from a group photo during a vacation to Hotel El Lobra in Ojai, California, in October 2025. The snap was shared by Gott and featured Duff, Moore, and other close friends.
The last photo of Tisdale hanging out with his crew was posted by Gott in December 2024.
Gott gushed in the caption of her post at the time: “I wish I had more pictures with all my friends…my husband lol but the point of this post is there’s nothing like mom friends.”
she continued. “Or you have a husband who tells you to quit your career to build another career with ideas burning in your head and you do it to eat a pound of caviar on a Thursday morning in BC, you said so 😇.”
Gott, founder of breast pump company Muu, has yet to respond to Tisdale’s words, but another member of the group has issued some criticism after the article was published.
Clothing designer Sammy Ryan shared a video on social media of a man reciting the lyrics to Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Her.”
“I don’t care if these girls don’t like me, ’cause I’m pretty damn cute,” the lyrics say. “Just the other day I heard a guy say, “Actually, what can this guy say? With a face like this and this bitch, this pays off, s-what can it say?”
The video was captioned, “Feeling like 2026.”
While Duff has remained silent about the toxicity allegations, her husband raised his fist on Instagram this week.
Matthew Koma shared a photo of himself wearing the same outfit Tisdale wore in a photoshoot for The Cut, and edited the post to appear as if it were from the magazine.
He hit the headline, “When you’re the most self-centered tone-deaf person on the planet, other mothers tend to shift their focus to the actual toddler.”
Koma and Duff married in 2019 and have three children together, Banks, 7, Mae, 5, and Townes, 2.
Tisdale’s husband fired back in a post of his own, quoting the line, “It’s your choice whether or not to get involved.”
