“As the World Turns” alumnus Scott Blythe has died at the age of 68.
According to journalist Michael Fairman, the actor’s friend Lucie Arnaz wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post on Sunday: “Scott Blythe, a great actor, beautiful man, and wonderful husband and father, passed away tonight.”
“I will miss his eyes, his smile, his wit, his brain, his intelligence, his talent, his courage, his laugh, and his hugs,” the daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz continued.
Lucy, 74, also wrote a special message to Bryce’s wife Jodi Stevens, whom he married in 2003, and their 19-year-old son Jackson, adding: “He is now watching over you from a place of pure joy and will always be your guide.”
“But I hate separation like this. Rest in peace, my wonderful, wonderful person,” the “Jazz Singer” actress continued.
Before his death, Bryce battled stage 3 esophageal and stomach cancer and was diagnosed in 2025.
After undergoing treatment, the actor said he is “on the road to recovery.”
Additionally, Fairman said Lucy revealed in a heartbreaking announcement that her cancer had returned.
