Armie Hammer’s mother has launched a podcast in hopes of giving disgraced celebrities a chance to tell their side of the story.
The first guest is her son.
I heard that devout Christian Drew Hammer teamed up with celebrity John Luciano to produce “Hollywood and Divine.” The film is said to give men, who may include convicted rapists, a chance to “repent” and redeem themselves.
Drew told Page Six, “There’s definitely a place for the Me Too movement because a lot has happened. But a lot of men have been slammed and it’s hard for them to speak up. So it’s a good time to tell them what happened and what they did wrong and repent.”
Armie was famously accused of rape, physical abuse, and inappropriate cannibalistic fantasies in 2021. He claimed all sexual contact was “consensual.” Although the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office did not charge him with a crime due to “insufficient evidence,” his career in Hollywood was severely damaged.
“Army chose not to fight back,” Drew, who claims to have seen emails and text messages between Armey and his accuser, told us. “I said if he wouldn’t do it, I could too. We’re mama bears. He wasn’t criminally wrong, he was morally wrong.”
Drew previously addressed the issue in his 2024 book, Hammered.
Luciano, a relative of the late mobster Lucky Luciano, promises to “ask the tough questions,” and Drew will tell guests how “faith overcame scandal.” For those who don’t have higher authority, discuss other ways you’ve dealt with it.
Luciano said his dream guest list includes a roster of canceled men, including prominent anti-Semites Kanye West, Mel Gibson, Johnny Depp, Kevin Spacey, Matt Lauer, and Danny Masterson, who was convicted of raping two women and is currently serving a 30-year sentence for life in prison.
They also want Justin Bieber, Will Smith, Chris Pratt, Kendra Wilkinson, and Heather Locklear, who has been arrested and is in rehab.
(None of these names are reserved for the show.)
“I believe in salvation,” says Luciano. “Do I have a Jeffrey Epstein personality? There are certainly things that are unforgivable, but I think for the most part people are entitled to a chance to protect themselves, or a second chance. Hollywood is throwing away a little too quickly, a little too woke.”
Army himself also tried podcasting, broadcasting a program called “Army Hammertime” from October 2024 to October 2025.
Army recently appeared in the movie “Frontier Crucible” for the first time in three years. A movie called “Citizen Vigilante” is also scheduled to be released this summer.
