Amanda Kloots’ sister, Anna, got married!

The influencer and author rose to popularity after sharing a story about how she moved to Paris five years ago after breaking up with her ex-husband, only to unexpectedly fall in love with her upstairs neighbor. The couple wed in a private ceremony on December 27, followed by a church ceremony and celebration at the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris.

Shortly after saying “I do,” Anna announced the wedding news on Instagram, sharing several posts about the special day, which was attended by the couple’s closest family and friends, and even their dog Miette.

“On the morning of the wedding, we prepared for the civil ceremony together. We ordered room service, and while I was doing my makeup, he put Miette in a little suit 🥹 Then, hand in hand, we set off on the most beautiful, bright and sunny day in Paris,” Anna said in a post on Dec. 30. “I cried when I saw my best friend perfectly recreate my mom’s bouquet for me and when we walked into the room and all of our loved ones were there rooting for us ❤️”

After the civil ceremony, the couple shared their first look at the luxury hotel Salon Marie Antoinette before tying the knot in a church. The bride wore a sparkling strapless dress designed by Georges Hobeika, while the groom chose a tuxedo by CINABRE.

In another post on December 31st, Anna wrote, “I ended this year with a wonderful husband by my side and my heart full as my dream of a wedding in Paris came true.”

Amanda, 43, attended the wedding with her six-year-old son Elvis and celebrated her sister on Instagram with a candid shot of their “incredible wedding day.”

Amanda wrote on Dec. 28, “What a blessing to celebrate the bride and groom in Paris. They have planned the most magical day filled with so many surprises and we are all in recovery mode this morning!!!”

Anna announced her engagement on Instagram in May. In the post, which included a clip of the couple dancing to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and a video of the proposal, Anna said she believed her chance meeting with her now-husband was “destiny.”

“I was supposed to meet someone who would show me that the kind of love I dreamed of finding was not a fantasy, but that there is someone who truly wants to take and hold your hand through the good times and the bad,” she wrote in part, adding that she was excited to “build a life together.”

According to one of Anna’s Instagram carousel posts, she and her husband met in October 2020. The divorce had just been finalized and Anna wasn’t looking for romance, but she couldn’t deny their instant bond.

“I helped my best friend close her flower shop and went home with a huge bouquet of flowers. I was standing in front of the door. When I got there, it was still dark. Then I heard someone approaching, and as I started to lower the flowers, our eyes met. He turned out to be my upstairs neighbor,” Anna wrote on several slides. “We walked inside together, and soon there was a knock on the door. It was my neighbor with a vase of flowers and red wine. After we talked for hours, he stuck out his hand in my living room and asked me to dance. The next morning, there was a handwritten note and a croissant on my doormat. He did this every morning for months, and he brought me flowers every week.”

“For the past five years, he has been by my side through everything. He supported my dreams and helped me realize them. He celebrated every win and helped me through every loss. He showed me the love I wanted and the love I believed I deserved wasn’t just a pipe dream. He supported me and helped me make my dreams come true. He kept the promise he made to himself in the beginning and waited until I could rebuild my life on my own. When I was ready, he asked me to start our life together.
