Amanda Batula has apologized nearly two weeks after confirming her and Summer House co-star West Wilson’s shocking romance.
In a “short and sweet” statement on her Instagram Story on Friday, Batula admitted she’s been “MIA” for the past few days.
“I wanted to get back up and say I’m so sorry to everyone I’ve disappointed or hurt,” the 34-year-old wrote.
Batula did not name Ciara Miller, her best friend and Wilson’s ex-girlfriend, but apologized to “people I know personally who have been in contact with me personally.”
“For the sake of my mental health, I’m trying to start living my life with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me,” the reality star continued.
Batula insisted, “I am not ignoring what is happening and what is unfolding,” and clarified that “I will attend the reunion.”
Bravolebrities vowed to “answer every question honestly and directly there.”
In her and Wilson’s first statement in March, which Page Six heard confirmed was a “full-fledged relationship,” the pair said their “connection” had “impacts beyond themselves.”
“We … never wanted our actions to be seen as hurtful or careless,” they wrote last month, asking for “respect and understanding as[they]navigate this situation.”
Their joint confirmation came after “heightened online speculation” fueled by other cast members’ mysterious social media activity.
Miller, who reportedly dated Wilson in 2023 and “hooked up” with him again weeks before the sports journalist went public with his relationship with Batula, has yet to directly address the scandal.
But the 30-year-old has been sharing poignant posts with her followers about “sisterhood” and battling “difficult things.”
As for Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, the Loverboy creator last week called on Batula’s haters to cut back on his ex-boyfriend, but acknowledged that the show is putting the future of Summer House in jeopardy.
He criticized Wilson in a recent interview with street journalist Adam Glynn, saying:
“Amanda knows what she did was wrong and is coming to terms with it.” “She’s not feeling well.”
In particular, Batula was brutally dropped from the fashion brand just hours after the campaign started.
Meanwhile, Miller’s career is booming, with sources saying he’s been “flooded” with opportunities.
