The 26th Newport Beach Film Festival (NBFF) has announced the lineup for this year’s festival. This is scheduled to take place from October 16th to October 23rd. This year’s event will feature over 100 feature films and 250 shorts from 32 countries.

The festival will open with a screening of “Blue Moon” by Richard Linklater, starring Ethan Hawk, Margaret Qualey, Bobby Canaval and Andrew Scott. The closing night film includes a screening of “Frankenstein” by Giggel Model Toro, starring Jacobu Elordi, Miagos and Oscar Isaac and Christoph Waltz.

The most talked-about titles in this year’s lineup include Near Da Costa’s “Header,” starring Tessa Thompson, Linklater’s “Nouvelle Vage,” Joachimtrier’s “Sentimental Value,” and Lean Johnson’s “Wake Up Dead Man: Knife Out Mystery,” Jeremy Renner, Kelly Washington, Andrew Scott, Kayley Spaney, Daryl McCormack and Thomas Hayden Church.

In addition to the screening, the Newport Beach Film Festival will partner with Fashion Island and StyleWeekoc to celebrate fashion and film across Southern California. On Saturday, October 18th, Sophie Ansari, Pembadogley and Navacabelline will be holding exclusive conversations and book signing for the latest release, entitled “Clashmore: The occurrence of love, loss, and age regarding essays.”

“Celebrating the 26th year, this lineup brings together visionary filmmakers from around the world with the season’s most exciting films. Newport continues its tradition of highlighting films that will be nominees for large awards throughout the season.” “We are delighted to share this dynamic program with our loyal Orange County audience. We can’t wait to uncover even more special events as the festival approaches.”
