Paramount Skydance has added Dennis K. Cinelli, AI’s Chief Financial Officer, to the company’s board of directors.
With the addition of Cinelli, this will expand the board of directors of Paramount Skydance to 11 directors, which will soon take effect.
Currently, CFOs are of AI size, so they were previously Uber’s head of mobility for the US and Canada. Prior to that, Cinelli served as Vice President of Ride-Share Giant’s Global Strategic Finance, leading the IPO in 2019 and leading the Jump merger with Uber’s Lime. Before staying at Uber, Cinelli was the CFO of GE GE Ventures.
In a press release appointed to the board on Tuesday, Paramount boasted about Cinelli’s “strong track record of execution in a growing environment,” and “deep expertise in disruptive technology,” and “extensive experience of strategic trading and active engagement within the AI ecosystem.”
Cinelli’s addition to the Paramount Board ends the acquisition of the $8.4 billion company, which owns brands such as CBS, Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Showtime, Paramount Network, Comedy Central and MTV, shortly after Skydance run by David Ellison.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dennis to the board,” Paramount Chairman and CEO Ellison said in a statement Tuesday. “He brings a unique blend of functional expertise and financial insights. He is shaped by his strong track record in promoting strong growth and embracing new technologies. His proven ability to combine financial discipline with a bold, future-looking approach will be an exceptional addition to his team as he continues to drive Paramount’s strategic vision and long-term growth.”
