Selena Gomez only has love for her co-stars!
The actress spoke to fans on Sunday, September 14th, after the video began streaming on X from the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards.
In the clip, the building’s star, the only murder 33, begins to see fellow co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin who were shining on his phone.
After seeing Short’s phone, Gomez cried sweetly as he turned to his fiancé Benny Blanco. She apparently later uttered the phrase “Merrill, text message.”
Meryl Streep, who is rumoured to play Short’s love interest in the hit full series and date him in real life, was missing from the awards show.

Short, 75 recently sang Streep’s praises. She detailed her experiences with her Oscar-winning co-stars ahead of the next five seasons of the hit Hulu series.
After being asked about fans who were “surprised” to learn about Streep, Short explained his co-star’s approach to Entertainment Tonight.
“I think how easy she is and how loose she is,” he said in an interview Tuesday, September 2nd.
“She has the right to be a diva, and she’s very polite, fun and generous,” said Martin, 80, who said Gomez repeatedly said Streep was the “best person.”
“Whenever I’m watching her there’s always a pinch moment on the set,” Gomez added.

At Emmy’s, the former Disney star has arrived at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles in a stunning ensemble. She wore a bold red floor-length Louis Vuitton Halter gown and featured a high neckline that stretched out on a floor-length train that accentuated the open back of her dress.
Her hair is tied up by a smooth back updo and her stunning Tiffany & Co. The earrings were displayed. She finished her look with Strappy Santoni’s heels.
Meanwhile, the swing looked dashing with a totally black look consisting of a suit and a beaded mock neck top.

The two showed lots of PDAs while taking photos of the carpet, where the swing kissed Gomez’s cheek.
The rare beauty mogul didn’t nod at the 2025 Emmys, but at last year’s awards she received her first solo nomination for standout actress in the comedy series for her role as Mabel in the Hulu series. However, the show was nominated for Best Comedy Series at the awards ceremony, and short also nodded to the outstanding actor in the comedy series.
