“By the way, you’re fine. He has his own comedy club in Las Vegas,” Romano said, replied jokingly as Garrett jokingly, “It’s in the food court.”
In response, someone from Queens stars said, “If you were this funny at the time, we could have won a few more.”

While talking to people at the El Pictan Theatre in Los Angeles at the premiere of Disney Pixar’s Elio on June 10th, Garrett provided the definitive answer as to whether there would be a reboot of the show.
“No,” Garrett told people. “And that’s because that’s what Ray and Phil (show creator Rosenthal) have always said.”
Garrett said the main reason was that the two actors who played Ray’s parents, Peter Boyle and Doris Roberts, both died.
“There’s no show without parents,” Garrett told people. “To do something similar that they’re catalysts and wouldn’t be right for the audience or their loyal fan base. And it’s about these two families and you can’t get around that.”
Despite this, the reboot is not included in the card, but Garrett says he is forever grateful for the role. “I know that (reboots) won’t happen, but 30 years later, I’m very fortunate to get on that bus, and I’m very grateful,” he added.

No reboots are planned, but the show continues to survive on all 210 episodes that can be streamed on Peacock and Paramount+.
Romano himself watched and evaluated all episodes for the first time since the 2005 series finale, telling people that he took on the show’s fuss in April 2024.
“I kicked a little there. I never saw an episode,” the actor told people. “They gave me a new look. I was grateful for them more. I was very hard on them back then… But when you stepped away a little from it, I felt like an audience. And I said, ‘Let me rate you.’ I evaluated them and I struggled with some. ”
