Ellen DeGeneres is accused of causing the 2023 clash in California, according to a new lawsuit.
Court documents obtained by people alleged that on October 16, 2023, the former talk show host, 67, ignored the stop sign while driving in Santa Barbara County, resulting in “T-bone” the woman’s car. TMZ first reported on Friday, September 12th.

People were not immediately replied with regent lawyers or plaintiffs.
According to the lawsuit, “the intersection (where the incident occurred) is controlled by stop signs in all directions.”
The plaintiffs are present before they run before claiming that she was stopped due to her stop and “confirmed that there were no other vehicles.” However, DeGeneres allegedly caused injuries to the plaintiff after “suddenly, without warning” crashing into her vehicle, and “attacked by a t.”
“Ellen DeGeneres entered the intersection without stopping at the stop sign,” the lawsuit says.
The lawsuit further accused the comedian of displaying “the negligence (it) was below the standard care of a reasonable person,” adding that DeGeneres “has caused negligence or that the plaintiff’s vehicle has collided with the defendant’s vehicle.”
Additionally, the woman said she suffered “multiple serious injuries and compensation” as a result.

The woman also claims she suffered loss of wages, hospitals and medical costs produced, other expenses, and “loss of life, emotional distress, and anxiety.”
She sues decadence for general negligence and private compensation damages.
