Ellen DeGeneres has been accused of causing a car crash in California before moving to the UK.
In documents obtained on Page 6 on Friday, the female driver allegedly hit her Tesla by a talk show before allegedly passing the Santa Barbara County Stop Sign in October 2023.
According to the documents, the woman claimed while driving a Tesla, she encountered multiple stop signs and intersections, stopping and checking oncoming vehicles before moving onwards.
The complainant alleges while moving to the intersection, where she was suddenly twitched and injured by a 67-year-old comedian.
The petitioner sues her for negligence and seeks unspecified damages, citing allegations of failure to make a concession on the regent’s stop sign.
Degeneres representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The news comes just two weeks after the former star’s former talk show photographer of the same name moved forward with more claims about the show’s toxic vibe.
“We have generally experienced a lot of male employees,” the former employee insisted in the Daily Mail last month. “We felt she really didn’t like guys.”
A former staff member at the Daily Show said DeGeneres could be “good” for staff, but if they get caught up in a conversation with “her wife Portia (de Rossi,) then they could be in trouble.
“You prayed in hoping that her wife would not be sitting, so you couldn’t get her attention,” he insisted. He also accused the former boss of having a feud with “Hell’s Kitchen” star Gordon Ramsay, who once told the EP that he “don’t let the show watch again.”
When the 2020 flood of toxic workplace claims came out, the comedian worked on allegations for the now-deprecated show.
“I learned what happened here,” she told the audience. “I take it very seriously. I’m very sorry to those who have been affected.” The show ended in 2022.
DeGeneres, who allegedly fell with Rosie O’Donnell after decades of friendship, fled the United States with DeRossi after the 2024 presidential election and settled across the pond in a dream-like farmhouse in the Cotswolds. In July, news said they were selling property and had already moved to another house nearby.
The actress confirmed that month that she and the “Arrested Development” star had left the country for President Donald Trump’s second election.
“We came here the day before the election and woke up to a bunch of texts from a friend who was crying and crying. I said, ‘He’s in.'” “And we said, ‘We’re staying here.”
She added partially.
