Kylie Kelse needs Taylor Swift fans to settle down.
The “Not Gonna Lie” host fought back criticism over his stepbrother Traviskells’ delay in working on engagement to the singer in a podcast episode on Thursday.
Kylie grew a “bunch of comments.”
The 33-year-old explained on August 26th that “he recorded her show” before the announcement was posted.
However, Jason Kelse’s wife shared “a very conscious effort to not discuss Taylor and Travis on this podcast.”
She elaborates on “transmitting,” saying, “You’re at home, you don’t realize you have your family. And in your family, you might have stepbrothers, they might be on a date with someone, or you might have step-sisters soon.”
Kylie noted that she “personally has a relationship with them, no one else has been involved with.”
So she insisted:
“I don’t have to talk about them all the time,” she continued. “Our relationships are private between us, so we didn’t congratulate them on the final episode and we didn’t always have to comment on what they were doing in life because they could text them and talk about them.”
Kylie added that the couple they’ve been with since the summer of 2023 “unbelievably happy” was “unknown.”
“We’re very excited that they’ll take this next step,” the former field hockey coach gushed. “(My four daughters) are very excited to acquire another aunt. I’m very pleased with them and I’m grateful that we can welcome Taylor into the family with a more formal ability.”
When Kylie broke her silence on the news in her “Good Morning America” appearance last week, she similarly said Wyatt is “excited” for five months, five months, five, Eliotte, four, Bennett, two, Finn, five months.
She told viewers, “We couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds. We love love, we love Taylor and Trav.”
Her husband praised his brother’s “suggestion” last month on “New Heights,” and his celebration aired the day after Travis and Swift dropped their engagement photos.
At the time, Jason said, “f-k yeah!”
