Channing Tatum earned “father points” for his role as “Demon Slayer” (exclusive)

Channing Tatum is not a normal dad. He’s a cool dad.

Magic Mikestar, 45, took part in the LA premiere of Demon Slayer: Infinite Castle at TCL Chinese Theatre on September 9th, telling people that the animated series franchise has been so well done with his 13-year-old daughter, Everly.

“The story is important. They are very, very, very, very, very important. This is very important, especially for me and my daughter,” he said, adding that he earned “cool daddy points” for voiced the character Kizo on the show.

And so excited about her dad’s latest role, she accompanied him on the red carpet, and it seemed to have grown up in a gown that was pale blue and wavy, off-shoulder gown.

Tatum and his ex-wife Jenna Dewan welcomed their daughter in 2013 before they split in 2018. Recently, Step Up alumni have successfully collaborated with a newly created teenager, confessing that he is accepting life as a girl’s dad.

“When I became a single father, I was afraid to connect with Everly in any way a little girl might want,” the actor said in 2021.

“But I plunged both my feet into this magical world, and I was rewarded with a kind of love that I would not have before,” he added.

In August 2023, Tatum took Everly to Taylor Swift’s ERAS Tour concert in Los Angeles. Gale King shared the video on Tatum Dancing’s Instagram at the event, and a snap of the actor wearing a t-shirt reading.

Tatum’s experience encouraged Everly to write his first children’s book, The One and Ondown Sparkella. A proud dad dedicated this book to his girl. “To Every, the most wonderful magical being I’ve ever known,” he wrote in the inscription. “You are my best teacher.”

Tatum subsequently released his second book in the series. The One Only Sparkella has plans and announced in 2022 that Sparkella will adapt to a live-action film starring someone other than her.

As for Dewan, she and her fiance Steve Cuzzy gave Everly two brothers, Callum, born in March 2020 and Rhiannon, born in June 2024.
