Robin Wright revealed that she currently lives in rural England and is dating a new person after leaving the US.
“America is ‘Thow’ and the Forrest Gump star told the Sunday Times in an interview released Sunday.
“I love being in this country. There’s freedom of self here. People are very kind. They live. They’re not in the car, they panic on the phone, and (or) eat sandwiches.”
“It’s most of America. It’s all rush, competition, speed,” continued Wright, 59.
The actress shares that she rents a house in Chiltern and enjoys listening to the birds every morning than the sounds of “neighbor’s house renovations” in Los Angeles.
“Everyone is building a huge house, and I’ve finished it all. I love being quiet,” she said. “And I met my person, last time,” she added, referring to Henry Smith.
Wright and the 52-year-old architect met at a bar in England after trying to feed his dog steak almost a year ago.
“Henry was standing at a 6-foot-2-inch bar, and he put down a pint and came over to me and grabbed her shoulder,” she recalled.
“He goes, ‘Who are you?’ And I said, ‘Who are you?’ and that was it. ”
Wright claimed that Smith didn’t know who he was, but he thought she was beautiful.
“He’s a lover, just right, a decent adult. He’s a guy,” said the “Princess Bride” star.
However, Wright said “just not needed” and after walking three times down the aisle, she revealed that she would never remarry.
The producer married her first ex-husband, Dane Witherspoon, from 1986 to 1988.
She was married to Sean Penn from 1996 to 2010, and exes shares two children, a son, Hopper, 34 and 32.
Wright married her third husband, Clement Giraudet in 2018 and divorced in 2022.
Aside from the “unbreakable” stars, comedians Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O’Donnell fled the United States for other European countries after Donald Trump was re-elected as US President in 2024.
