Niecy Nash has revealed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kept the cellphones of their famous wedding guests in a “glass case” to protect their privacy at the big event.
“I don’t think we’re talking outside of school, because you guys are watching everything online now, right?” the “Scream Queens” actress said on Thursday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
“But in those days, you had to lip it. They took your phone and put it in a glass case. It was crazy.”
Nash, who attended the wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3 with his wife Jessica Betts, also revealed that the incident was “top secret”, adding: “I couldn’t tell anyone.”
“Reno 911″! He said that the celebration, which was attended by all the actresses, was “very good.”
“I can tell you now. And let me tell you something,” she teased. “So, I think you already heard that Adam Sandler was hosting, and I had no idea what he was going to wear. Well, you know, for Adam, he looked decent.”
Nash also hinted at the lavish gifts and prizes guests reportedly received at the soiree.
“They played a lot of games,” Nash told guest host Colman Domingo.
“You play a game, you get a ticket to that game, and then you fill a bucket with water and figure out if you can win the prize that’s handed out at the end. So that part was cool.”
Representatives for the “Oparite” songstress and NFL star did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment Friday afternoon.
Nash isn’t the first guest at the power couple’s wedding to reveal wedding details. Earlier this month, Kyle and Kristin Juszczyk deemed the celebration “legendary” in exclusive comments to Page Six.
They also revealed that it was “wild” to be on the dance floor with so many famous guests including Hugh Grant, Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham and Brad Pitt.
“There were definitely tears,” Kyle said.
Also in July, AMC CEO Adam Aaron ranted against X about details of the event, but later deleted the post.
“The real flowers and artificial trees were probably 15 rows of about 75 chairs,” he wrote. “They said there were about 1,000 people in attendance, and surprisingly it all felt intimate and small. Everything was close-knit.”
She added, “I wish you all could have been there with me and witnessed real, pure, true joy.”
