Meghan shared photos from her European holiday with Prince Harry, Lilibet and Archie, as well as pictures of the family visiting Princess Diana’s childhood home of Althorp, spending time at the beach and enjoying Portugal.
In late June, People magazine reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were vacationing in Europe with their children Archie and Lilibet. The trip lasted over a week, and now Meghan is giving fans an exclusive look at their activities on Instagram.
Although the Duchess of Sussex didn’t post a photo of Archie and Lili visiting their grandfather King Charles, she did post a shot of them visiting Althorp, the childhood home of her late grandmother Princess Diana in England (People magazine said the couple stayed at the Northamptonshire mansion as guests of Prince Harry’s uncle Charles Spencer).
She also posted snaps on the beach, meeting a pilot and diving in a pool. Meghan did not tag or specify her location, but she traveled to multiple countries. Town & Country also identified the restaurant where she posted the menu, O Melidense in Merides, Portugal.
This will be Archie and Lilibet’s first major trip to Europe since attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in July 2022.
Meghan occasionally posts photos of Lili and Archie living in California on social media. She handles even more things personally, sending emails to addresses she creates for her children.
In an April 2025 appearance on The Jamie Cahn Lima Show, she explained, “I thought it was a really great time capsule to create for my kids. I still have scrapbooks and photo albums, but we’re past that generation. So I created an email address for my kids…and I’m going to give them to them at some point in their lives when they’re older. But I text them almost every night before they go to bed.”
She explained in detail what she would be emailing, such as, ‘Here’s today’s report card,’ ‘Oh my god, I said the funniest thing this morning,’ or ‘Here’s a picture of us having breakfast.’ (These messages may include things you don’t want to fit into a box or put pen to paper in your diary.)
