“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Leila Taylor is dating Kelsey Chesser.
The reality TV star confirmed their relationship status on Tuesday when Chesser shared a TikTok video with the caption, “When I slid into my girlfriend’s DMs hoping she was interested in girls.”
Chesser, who sang along to Beyoncé’s “Partition” in the video, also captioned the post, “Thank you for having my girlfriend 🙂↕️ #wlw #girlfriend.”
But it was confirmed when Taylor chimed in in the comments section simply writing, “Folded.”
In the clip, Chesser showed off a tattoo on his arm that matched the one in a video Taylor posted on June 6, teasing his girlfriend’s identity.
She captioned the soft launch video: “Thank you ‘You’ve been shining lately’, I’m dating a woman right now.”
“Chivalry isn’t dead; it’s lesbianism.”
At the time, Jen Affleck, who co-starred with Taylor in SLOMW, expressed her support for the singer, writing, “You look so happy🥺❤️.”
The HULU star officially came out as bisexual on the June 29 episode of Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose.
“I’m gay, I’m bi, and I’ve dated both women and men,” she said in the episode, also revealing that she was “talking” to a woman who expressed interest by liking her Instagram photo. At the time, Taylor did not reveal the identity of the woman now presumed to be Chesser.
She gushed about her girlfriend on the podcast, saying how she was “emotionally sensitive” and “very patient.”
“She’s been very understanding and let me do it at my own pace because it’s still foreign and very new to me.[It’s]a level of understanding and just being there for me,” Taylor continued.
Taylor didn’t come out to her SLOMW co-stars until she spoke on the podcast.
Taylor was previously married to Clayton Wessel, with whom she shares sons Oliver, 5, and Maxwell, 3.
The couple married in 2020 but ultimately separated three years later. Since their separation, Taylor has dated both Cameron Jolie and Mason McWhorter.
The reality star confirmed her split from McWhorter in an emotional TikTok in February, but didn’t hint at a new relationship until she appeared on a podcast in June.
