Jennifer Love Hewitt unveils new hair color.
The 47-year-old actress showed off her ABC “9-1-1” season 10 color in an Instagram video last week, running her fingers through her newly lightened lengths.
“Season 10 hair ready! Let’s go!” she captioned the clip, tagging the team at Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles.
In an Instagram Story with colorist Nikki Lee, Hewitt said fans asked her to keep it light after going honey blonde during the show’s hiatus in April.
“We’re keeping the blonde hair. We heard you guys,” she said.
This is the third color her character, dispatcher Maddie Hun, has worn in as many seasons. Hewitt is a natural brunette who went copper in May 2025, a shade Lee dubbed “Sunset Lover,” which she wore on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of I Know What You Did Last Summer in July of the same year.
Commenters approved of the new light blonde, with one commenter writing, “Gorgeous then, super gorgeous now.” Another added: “You can’t do anything wrong. You’re a bad person.”
“You can literally wear it in any color,” a third person suggested.
At least one fan has already written about the upcoming season: “Season 10 Maddie walks in like she’s trying to break us emotionally by solving three cases in one episode.”
They may not be that far away. In the season 9 finale, Maddie is promoted at a call center and replaces her boss, Sue, who has suffered a stroke.
“9-1-1” will return for its 10th season on ABC this fall.
