Aaron Rodgers has spent the better part of a decade estranged from his parents Darla and Ed and brothers Luke and Jordan.

However, the athlete revealed that she had reunited with Darla, Ed and Luke and shared an Instagram post featuring herself and her family in July 2026.

Aaron captioned the shot: “Another week of bonding. #fam.”

The long-standing family feud first became public in 2016, when Jordan was appearing on the season of The Bachelorette starring JoJo Fletcher.

During the show, the TV personality confessed that his brother has become estranged from his family.

When Jordan invited Fletcher, who he married in 2022, to dinner in his hometown, neither Aaron nor his then-girlfriend Olivia Munn were there.

The athlete’s parents, Darla and Ed Rogers, and brothers Luke and Jordan Rogers (pictured together) have been vocal about the feud over the years.

The quarterback later claimed he was not invited to the meal, which took place during football season.

In 2024, Aaron also denied that Mann had anything to do with the family’s separation, despite his father’s public hints.

Aaron declined to comment on the rift in 2016

In 2016, while vying for Fletcher’s heart on the dating show, Jordan told the former real estate developer that while she was close with Luke, Aaron was estranged from his family.

Luke told Fletcher that the tension was not something the group “wanted to talk about too much.”

“It’s equally hard for both of us to lose our relationship[with Aaron]. We miss our brother so much,” he continued. “I believe God will bring things full circle and everything will come back to our family.”

However, Aaron refused to discuss the situation at the time.

In July 2016, he told ABC’s WISN 12 News, “When it comes to things like that, I’ve always felt like it’s a little inappropriate to talk about family issues publicly, so I’m just not going to talk about things like that.”

Aaron (pictured with his mother in July 2026) later said: “I was never asked to go, and it’s not like I didn’t go.” Aaron Rodgers 12/Instagram

Eight years later, the NFL star explained his side of the infamous dinner in the Netflix documentary Aaron Rodgers: Enigma.

“I kept quiet about it because I thought it was best not to talk about it publicly,” Aaron said. “So what did they do? They go to a cattle show and leave two chairs empty.”

The empty chairs in question were for him and Mann.

“They all agreed that this was a good thing, emptying two chairs on a stupid dating show…but for example, at a dinner during the (NFL) season, I was never asked to go and I wasn’t going to go,” Aaron said.

Aaron slams reports that Mann was involved in family issues

“Fame can change things,” Ed told the New York Times in 2017, a year after the rift became public.

At the time, Aaron was the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.

The family patriarch also told the outlet that he hasn’t spoken to his parents or siblings since 2014, just months after Aaron started dating Mann.

In 2024, Ed slammed the actress to Out of the Darkness: The Mystery of Aaron Rodgers screenwriter Ian O’Connor.

Mann, who was pictured with the actress in 2016, responded with applause, saying Mann had “nothing to do” with the family’s “deep-seated” issues. Getty Images

“She said her family was dysfunctional before she met Aaron. That’s bullshit,” Ed exclaimed.

But Aaron hit back, explaining that Mann had “nothing to do” with his family’s “deep-seated” issues.

Aaron and Mann broke up in 2017 after dating for three years.

Aaron hints at reconciling with parents in 2018

In 2018, this family drama hit social media.

Jordan posted a shot of herself and Luke on Instagram and detailed how she has always looked up to her older brother.

A source close to Aaron told People magazine at the time that leaving out the Super Bowl MVP was “probably intentional” and described his brother as “passive-aggressive.”

Jordan also accused Aaron of not contacting his parents during the California wildfires that year, even though he announced he would donate $1 million to those affected.

“When your own mother is home alone during a fire, with the car ready to evacuate, and you miss the basic first step of compassion, calling your parents to make sure they’re safe…everything else feels like an act,” Jordan wrote to X.

Aaron remained silent about the accusations, but revealed a month later that he had spent his 35th birthday with his parents.

Aaron says he forgot about family feud

In 2022, Aaron spoke about reuniting with his family (pictured with them). “I believe in healing and I believe in the possibility of reconciliation someday,” he said. Terke Rogers/Instagram

During a 2022 appearance on the Aubrey Marcus Podcast, Aaron admitted that he doesn’t hold any “grudge” toward his family.

“I believe in healing, and I believe in the possibility of reconciliation someday,” he reflected.

“But it’s a different journey for all of us, and trying to judge from the outside what it should be, how it should be, or who’s wrong and who’s right was a game I didn’t want to play, and I still don’t want to play.”

Despite his hopeful words, Aaron was absent from Jordan and Fletcher’s wedding that year. Aaron also did not attend Luke and wife Amy Wasen’s 2019 wedding.

Aaron details rift in 2024 Netflix doc

In “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma,” the football star further detailed what went wrong in his family relationship.

Aaron admitted that he wasn’t “very close with the whole family” by any means, but that he was “close friends” with Jordan.

“Actually, it goes back to high school and it made me feel so far away. It was about college, what happened after college,” Aaron elaborated.

Jordan and Aaron both played football in college, but the latter was drafted into the NFL in 2005.

Meanwhile, Jordan was released by three NFL teams.

Aaron also admitted that some of his disagreements with his parents stem from religion.

He said, “I felt the kind of love that I had seen modeled when I was a child. It’s a kind of merit-based mentality.”

“It’s hard to give love and it’s just as hard to receive it if you don’t believe you deserve it,” Aaron elaborated.

In the three-part series, the Super Bowl winner revealed that he had to give himself the “forgiveness” he didn’t get as a child.

“When you have some kind of dysfunction or separation in your family life, you have to nurture yourself and give yourself what you didn’t have as a child and what you wanted to hear more of,” Aaron explained.

“I think I just wanted to be told, ‘I’m proud of you.'”

Aaron claims he was told to ‘be smaller’ after finding fame

In the doc, Aaron also talked about his family’s perspective on his rise to fame in the NFL.

“When I got really famous, I heard things over and over again from a lot of people, including my family, like, ‘Your life is too big. You need to make it smaller. Be smaller and stop talking about your life,'” he recalled.

“It always hurts because I feel like you don’t see me.”

Aaron added that he wanted nothing more than to play on Sunday.

He said it “brings fame and notoriety and can definitely change the people around you because it can be intoxicating.”

“So relationships will definitely change after that — friendships, family, etc.”

Aaron addresses ‘bull’s story’ over family anger

In March 2026, the athlete appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and addressed the ongoing issue.

“If you look at the story with my family, it’s been one-sided for years,” Aaron said. “They were making bullish statements in the media.”

He added: “I didn’t say anything until I thought, ‘Enough, enough is enough.'”

Aaron is reunited with his family

In July 2026, Aaron shared a series of photos on Instagram with his parents and younger brother Luke.

Jordan was not in any of the photos.

Aaron captioned the post, “Another week of bonding. #fam.”
