90 Day Fiancé stars Armando Rubio and Kenny Niedermayer have given an update on their daughter Hannah’s terrifying health crisis.
Niedermayer, who is accompanying 13-year-old Hannah at a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, posted a photo of Hannah undergoing surgery on his Instagram Stories on Friday.
“She went through her latest surgery very well,” Niedermayer wrote, promising her followers “more updates soon.”
He added, “I would like to once again thank everyone for their consideration and kindness.I am grateful.”
Rubio, who is in Mexico due to immigration issues and unable to travel to Arizona, reshared the post on his Instagram Story.
Earlier this week, Rubio said, Hannah noticed that her face was “dropping” and half of her body was “weak,” and she complained of not feeling well.
The boy was taken by ambulance from his family’s small town in Mexico to a medical facility in Arizona and then airlifted to the state capital.
Doctors eventually told Rubio that her daughter had suffered a brain hemorrhage.
Niedermayer was in Ohio for a family funeral when the medical emergency occurred, so he and Rubio’s mother were able to be at Hannah’s bedside.
Meanwhile, Rubio told Page Six that he was turned away at the border and forced to remain in Mexico after his request for humanitarian parole was denied and a U.S. Customs and Border Protection supervisor told him he would not be eligible for parole until 2025.
“Every parent wants to be at their child’s bedside when they’re sick, but not being able to hold their child’s hand or comfort them is the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced,” he told Us on Wednesday.
The next day, Rubio told his Instagram followers about the next steps doctors are taking to treat Hannah.
“I talked to Kenny and he said the MRI didn’t give him any answers,” he said. “I think they said that as a next step, they’re going to do an angioplasty and see if they can get an answer there. Maybe they will, they’re thinking, but that means they have to get her out.”
As Rubio broke down in tears, he admitted it was “scary” to hear that doctors might “stab[Hannah]in the neck.”
“I miss my baby girl,” he added. “I don’t want to lose her.”
The TLC star also thanked fans who donated to his GoFundMe, which has raised more than $146,000 for Hannah’s medical expenses.
“I can’t thank you all enough,” he said. “Even if I can’t be with her, you all have been angels through this and made it a little easier.”
