Cara Delevingne is officially a Playboy girl.
The model, actor and musician covers Playboy magazine’s summer issue in a literally sultry and risqué look.
In the cover photo, Delevingne, 33, wears nothing but Atsuko Kudo’s black latex corset ($1,979), holds a cigarette with a lit match in one hand, and (barely) covers her genitals with the other.
Delevingne not only makes an impact with her sexy photos, but she’s also the first openly lesbian woman to appear on the cover of Playboy.
To celebrate, she wore the brand’s iconic bunny suit corset, with matching tail and ears. This is the model’s first appearance since Kate Moss in 2014.
The magazine teased the cover on social media on Monday, posting a photo of a soapy torso with several tattoos, revealing to those who know who it is.
“Get your summer 2026 cover star tomorrow,” the caption read.
Back in 2023, the musician said she would remove numerous tattoos after getting sober, but this shoot confirms that she still has quite a few sentimental inks left on herself.
New York Times bestselling author Ottessa Moshfegh said Delevingne “worked with a predominantly female team[for the cover shoot]to feel agency over her body, appear nude, and embrace her image.”
“Of course, Playboy is very much a heterosexual institution,” she said in the article. “So it felt like a bit of an idiotic and rebellious thing to do, and having a great creative team led by women, many of whom were queer, felt really fun and different.”
The models were photographed by Zoe Grossman and styled by Lana Jay Lackey.
“I’ve been naked on shoots and in movies before, but I always felt a little gross when it was for someone else. Of course, it was my choice and I agreed with it, but I never felt empowered by it,” she told Moshfegh.
She continued, “I’ve never felt more comfortable in my body and my sexuality. I feel like I’m at the peak of my life as a woman and as a sexual being.”
Playboy’s summer issue hits newsstands on July 28th.
