The Baywatch lifestyle is back. The first look at Fox’s Baywatch reboot has been released in a new teaser trailer.
The trailer shows Hobie Buchannon (Stephen Amell), Charlie Vail (Jessica Belkin), and Luke (Noah Beck) sprinting and jumping across the sand. “It’s the best job in the world,” declares Nat (Hussie Harrison), and the Baywatch team bangs glasses together at the bar.

Fox’s “Baywatch” continues the tradition of the original show, which first aired in 1989. The series featured stars such as Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, and Jason Momoa. “Baywatch” is the most-watched show in the world, airing in more than 200 countries and reaching more than 1 billion viewers weekly at its peak in 1996. In the 2017 film Baywatch, Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron took on the role of a new generation of beach protectors.
The new series will premiere in January and will portray Amell as the son of Baywatch captain Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff), who also arrives with a child of his own (Belkin) to carry on the family legacy.
In addition to Amell, Belkin, Beck and Harrison, the new “Baywatch” stars Shay Mitchell as Trina, Thaddeus LaGrone as Brad and Brooks Nader as Selene. Livivi Dunn will make her acting debut as Grace, and David Chokachi will reprise his role as Cody Madison.
The series is co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Fremantle, with Matt Nix serving as executive producer and showrunner. McG, Michael Burke, Greg Bonnan, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz serve as executive producers.
