Welcome to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding venue.
Ahead of the couple’s wedding in New York City, a red carpet was rolled out in front of Madison Square Garden on Tuesday afternoon, but it was quickly removed.
Workers were pictured covering the entrance steps to the iconic venue with red cloth.
The decorations are “for a wedding,” an employee told Page Six.
However, the carpet was quickly removed from the stairs and was not scheduled to be installed yet, officials said.
Page 6 I overheard a worker say that the carpet should be purple.
Within minutes of being installed, the red carpet was gone.
Swift and Kelsea, both 36, are scheduled to marry at MSG on Friday in a star-studded ceremony.
According to Page Six , the pair plans to host an intimate rehearsal dinner for an estimated 100 guests on Thursday, but four-figure guests are expected to attend on the big day.
Zoe Kravitz and Karlie Kloss are also confirmed to be in attendance, as well as Suki Waterhouse and NFL star Kyle Juszczyk.
TMZ reported earlier this month that those who accepted the invitation to the high-profile event were sent a link to a non-disclosure agreement before learning more details.
The outlet noted on Tuesday that the document did not include financial or other penalties for breaching the terms.
Swift and Kelsey got engaged in August 2023 after two years of dating, and their wedding was originally scheduled for June 13 in Rhode Island.
Ultimately, they chose to change course because “the nature of access and securing boundaries were too difficult,” a source told Us Weekly over the weekend.
Furthermore, the official claimed, “There were so many people who wanted to come, that we had to change our plans due to the scale of the event.”
Since moving to the Big Apple, Swift and Kelsea have taken extreme measures to keep their wedding private, including applying for a roadblock permit.
