Prince George is growing up before our eyes!

The teenage royal towered over his mother, Princess Kate Middleton, when the rare mother-son outing was photographed.

In a joint Instagram post from the Prince and Princess of Wales on Saturday, the royal couple shared a video of Prince George and Duchess Kate visiting the Battle of Britain commemorative flight at Royal Air Force Base Coningsby and honoring British Armed Forces Day.

In the clip, George, 12, and Kate, 44, were recorded separately as they took turns sitting in the cockpit of different planes.

The parents’ post was captioned in part: “Celebrating service and sacrifice.”

“You’ll learn about the extraordinary history of these aircraft and meet the pilots and engineers who continue to uphold their legacy. It’s a powerful reminder of the courage, skill and dedication of those who serve, past and present. We thank all those who have served and continue to serve.”

The latest update from the royal family revealed that he will soon follow in his father’s footsteps by attending the same prestigious school as his father.

“Kensington Palace can confirm that Prince George will be joining Eton College from September this year,” a spokesperson told Page Six earlier this month.

Prince William attended the prestigious school from 1995 to 2000, while Prince Harry joined in 1998 and graduated in 2003.

George, who turns 13 next month, previously attended Lambrook School in Ascot with his two younger brothers, Princess Charlotte, 12, and Prince Louis, eight.

Eton College is a boarding school for boys in Berkshire, England, founded in 1440. It is the largest boarding school in England.

Other notable alumni include 20 British Prime Ministers, including David Cameron and Boris Johnson.
