“Real Housewives of Potomac” alum Mia Thornton has been accused of photoshopping her face onto influencer Sophie O’Neal’s body in a photo she recently uploaded to social media.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, the 41-year-old reality star shared a photo of herself wearing a white dress that featured a plunging neckline and holding a small white Birkin.
The only problem? The photo bears a striking resemblance to a snap O’Neal uploaded in 2025, which the model was quick to point out in Thornton’s comments section.
“@mrsmiathornton — I see myself in my photos. The world is such a scary place these days. This is just sad,” she wrote. “Can you please remove the photo of me wearing a head covering? Thank you.”
After the confrontation, Thornton followed up the post with a photo of herself sitting inside the restaurant wearing the same dress, according to the Daily Mail.
“I didn’t need clout,” she captioned the photo. “My name carries enough weight on its own.”
“Let me guess, her name is also in the photo of her sitting inside the restaurant,” Thornton added.
But fans didn’t buy it. One netizen responded, “She didn’t even try to hide it.”
“So you asked Chat GPT to sit in a restaurant setting, okay? Now get away from us,” another user wrote.
Another added: “You can ask the AI to sit that person down lol. You’ll need a screen recording video with a series of all photos with timestamps of this outfit and location.”
The incident sparked widespread jokes on social media, with reality stars including Real Housewives’ Tamra Judge and Sheree Whitfield joining in on the fun by superimposing their faces on Ms O’Neal’s body in a white dress.
Thornton was once again embroiled in a social media faux pas with a new upload on Thursday.
According to Us Weekly, the former Bravolebrity captioned the post, “Two seasons off from Potomac… y’all still talking about me. I’m busy adding thousands to my bottom line with AI. We’re not the same 💋 #therealdeal #bornentertainer.”
The photo has since been deleted, but Thornton decided to respond to the fan’s comments.
“Mia too, please don’t steal that woman’s body anymore 🤭🙌🏽,” one commenter wrote.
Thornton replied, “She’s cute though. And we gave her 20 seconds of fame. So mission accomplished. Great job guys!”
