Zendaya’s press cycle usually means a flurry of single- and project-themed couture. But for the latest stop on his “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” world tour in Paris on Wednesday, the Emmy winner wore a simple oversized black T-shirt with the web-slinger emblazoned on the front.
Of course, Zendaya and her longtime stylist Law Roach paired the vintage graphic T-shirt with white Christian Louboutin pumps. This is a red carpet photocall, after all. But the real news is that Roach sold the look for $34.99 on eBay.
“Style doesn’t have to cost a lot of money,” Roach wrote on her Instagram Story, posting a screenshot of a shirt listed for sale on eBay. (The person who sold that used 2XL T-shirt won’t believe whose ultra-stylish back it ended up on.)

Zendaya and Roach have been creating major fashion moments on the red carpet over the years. At the 2019 Met Gala, Zendaya worked her magic in a Tommy Hilfiger dress that transformed her into Cinderella. For the Dune: Part 2 premiere, we sourced a skintight metallic Thierry Mugler bodysuit (Fall/Winter 95). Her ensemble of tennis core outfits for “Challengers” includes custom looks from Loewe and Lacoste. The four “Spider-Man” movies of the past decade have seen many styles adorned with spider webs.
Most recently, the pair told a bridal-themed story in Zendaya’s wedding drama The Drama, which culminated in a straight-from-the-runway black-and-blue feathered Schiaparelli ball gown that repurposed Zendaya’s white Vivienne Westwood dress, which she first wore at the 2015 Oscars, as an “oldie.” Zendaya and her “Spider-Man” Tom Holland also got married during this time, but the world may never see what this ultra-fashionable and ultra-private couple wore as they walked down the aisle.
Zendaya kicked off her Brand New Day press tour in Madrid wearing a fire-engine red Ernest Naranjo dress and a black Christian Cowan dress. In Amsterdam, she chose a dramatic McQueen opera coat and dress with metallic floral embroidery and a Louis Vuitton look with black and red embellishments. And in Berlin, she rocked a custom black leather Louis Vuitton crop top and skirt. In Rome, Zendaya was archived wearing a stunning Giorgio Armani beaded spider web dress (Spring ’90) and a sparkling Versace crop top and skirt (Fall ’97).
Holland and Zendaya star in the film, produced by Sony and Marvel Studios, and will be released in U.S. theaters on July 31st.
