Daniel Olivera announced that he gave birth to a baby boy, Aidan, 10 weeks early.
On Father’s Day Sunday, the Summerhouse alum took to Instagram to share that she and boyfriend Eoin Heavey have become parents, but have a long road ahead of them as their son is in the NICU.
“Aidan Santos Heavy was born on June 21, 2026, 10 weeks early. It’s both the summer solstice and the longest day of the year for mom and dad,” they said in a statement.
“He will be heading off to NICU summer camp for the first few months of his life, but mom and dad can’t wait to bring him home soon,” the new parents added.
The couple said Aidan means “burner” or “bringer of fire” and praised Olivera’s “fantastic” behavior after she went into labor and was taken to the hospital’s emergency room.
The In the City star, 37, and Heavey praised the medical professionals at Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York City, saying they were “fascinated by the miracles they perform every day.”
“He was nervous, scared and sobbing, but we couldn’t have asked for a better first Father’s Day,” they concluded.
The post included an image of a glass cup with the words “Promoted to Dad” written on it and a snap of Mr Olivera looking at his newborn son as he lay in an incubator.
Olivera and Heavey announced on Instagram that they are expecting their first child in May.
“Baby Heavy is on his way 🐣✨🥹,” she captioned the post, which also included an image of her cradling her belly bump while Heavy stood behind her.
The two started dating last year, but have been friends for a “long time.”
“We both moved to New York around the same time, like after college, and we probably overlapped a little bit in terms of friend groups and parties at the time, and that’s when we met,” Heavey explained.
“But I moved. I lived in Miami last year and moved back again at the beginning of this year,” he continued. “And then we reconnected. It’s been nine months, and what was that?”
Olivera announced in June 2024 that she had made the “heartbreaking decision” to not be a full-time cast member of Season 9 of Summer House.
She appeared on the popular show Bravo for seven seasons.
