Bunny Zoe claims that Jelly Roll is “taking care” of her financially during their divorce.
“I joke with him, ‘You didn’t take care of me in our marriage, but in the divorce you’re going to take care of me!'” Bunny told “Dumb Blonde Podcast” listeners on Thursday, just a month after Jerry filed for divorce on May 18.
“We are kings,” she added with a laugh, reiterating over and over again that her estranged husband is still her “best friend.”
“My husband and I intend to end our marriage on the best terms possible,” the 46-year-old insisted. “We’re literally trying to settle a divorce, and what? We got it done in three weeks? We got it done in two weeks?”
According to Bunny, she and Jerry (who married in August 2016) have already divided their shared assets, including the “dream home” they were building together in Tennessee.
Calling the 41-year-old musician “very sweet,” she revealed that he “gives[her]the compound in her divorce because he knows how special it is to[her].”
Bunny also revealed that her friends Meem Shahan and Haley Clark, who participated in the episode, will be moving into their own home on the property, and taking all of her and Jerry’s animals with them.
As for what led to their breakup, Bunny, who turned from an escort to an OnlyFans creator and retired from sex work in March 2023, claims that she and Jerry “weren’t very good at disagreeing,” and that they last had an argument on Mother’s Day (May 10).
Although she didn’t give details, Bunny (real name Alisa Deford) admitted that during the argument, she encouraged Jerry (real name Jason Deford) to “file for divorce.”
However, she lamented that she was “speaking out of anger and frustration” and said that she actually did not want to break up with him.
“We felt like we should be given a chance to go to therapy and work things out,” Bunny explained. “He didn’t think that way and I respect that. It took me a month and a half to respect that.”
She also admitted that the grueling IVF journey had “destroyed” them both physically and mentally as the hormones “turned him into a horrible nightmare to be around” and left her “a shell of the person[she is]”.
Despite their split, Bunny revealed that she and Jerry (who she described as “the most unconventional couple”) are “still having babies together” and plan to co-parent as “one big happy family.”
Jerry already has two children, daughter Bailey Ann, 18, and son Noah Buddy, 9, from a previous relationship.
According to Bunny, “none of them cheated on their partners,” but the affair did occur early in their marriage.
“Literally, we just fulfilled each other’s purpose,” she told listeners, noting that the Grammy winner “even started dating” again.
Jerry spoke about the divorce Thursday night during a concert in Saratoga Springs, New York, during his Little Us Shed tour.
He echoed his estranged wife’s feelings, telling the crowd that “no one cheated on me” and called her his “best friend” for life.
Jerry made sure to piece together episodes of Bunny’s podcast, insisting that “every word of it was true,” and ending with, “Bunny, I love you, baby.”
