The New York Knicks held a post-game victory parade for the NBA Championship with an ultra-exclusive bash at members-only club Chez Margaux on Thursday, multiple sources confirmed to Page Six.
Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Miles McBride, Landry Shamet and their teammates were spotted in a curtained-off VIP area at the Chelsea Social Club to commemorate the franchise’s first NBA title in 53 years.
“There was a really good celebratory energy,” a source said, adding, “The party kept going and everyone was in a really good mood.”
The extravagant celebration also saw appearances from Cardi B, Teyana Taylor, Leon Bridges, Greta Gerwig, Shabouzi, Adrien Brody, girlfriend Georgina Chapman, and comedians Eric Andre, Shane Gillis, and Michael Che. Another source said Mark Ronson was the DJ.
“[Nix]arrived around 10:30 p.m.,” a second source said, adding that the party was hosted by Chez Margaux co-founders Michael Caia and Heather Kreizner.
“Cardi and Teyana came separately and were the last to arrive,” the second source continued, noting that the two “danced together” and it was a “total vibe.”
While Towns displayed high energy throughout the evening, Hart reportedly lounged at a table in the back.
Towns’ fiancée Jordyn Woods looked stylish in a black corset top. Jordyn, who was joined by her sister Jodi Woods, completed her look with her fiancé’s championship diamond necklace.
Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who runs the popular spot’s culinary program, was seen chatting with Towns and Jordyn over craft cocktails.
Hear your party savor the celebrity chef’s signature dishes, including crispy potato croquettes with caviar, crispy salmon rice sushi, black truffle and fontina pizza, spicy lobster almacche, and roasted prime New York strip.
For dessert, we had a Knicks-themed devil’s food cake with milk chocolate cremeux and hazelnut praline.
“Each player went to the background to thank all the staff,” a second source recalled. “That can’t happen. Everyone was great.”
Earlier in the day, more than 1 million fans packed the streets of downtown Manhattan to celebrate the players.
Several A-list Knicks fans were spotted celebrating with the players on the bus, including Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller, Mariska Hargitay and Fat Joe.
At one point, Chalamet was seen tossing a Knicks hat into the crowd for a lucky fan.
Meanwhile, Woods was also spotted rapping along to Drake’s song ‘Shaban’ with his fiancée, while Jalen Brunson was spending quality time with his wife Dr. Ali Marks Brunson and their 1-year-old daughter Jordyn James.
The parade ended at City Hall, where after Branson gave a speech, Manhattan native Alicia Keys took the microphone to perform her 2009 hit “New York State of Mind.”
The Knicks, who defeated the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals last Friday, have been spotted breaking bottles all over the Big Apple this week.
They kicked off the New York party circuit on Sunday night at the members-only club Flyfish Club.
Page Six exclusively reported that the team enjoyed endless caviar, omakase, and tequila cocktails.
On Sunday night, the team partied with the “Marty Supreme” actor in Seville, and on Wednesday night, Jaylen’s father, Rick Brunson, Fat Joe, Jordan Clarkson, Shabouzy and others added to the festivities in the marquee.
