Kendra Duggar plans to sell one of the Arkansas homes she owns with husband Joseph Duggar as her child sex abuse trial approaches.
The couple is asking $407,900 for the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Siloam Springs, according to various real estate listings reviewed by Page Six.
Kendra’s family had been staying in the home until March, when they claimed they were asked to vacate the premises after their daughter and Joseph were arrested.
This home is located on a property with other homes that Joseph and Kendra rent out for short-term stays.
They have one of their properties for sale, but they also rent out another home.
Real estate records viewed by Page Six show that the Springdale, Arkansas, home was listed on June 10 for $1,875 a month.
In a March 25 phone call to the prison, Kendra discussed selling some of her family’s belongings and moving, turning the house into a rental property, People reported.
The couple also discussed major financial hardships in a March phone conversation obtained by Page Six.
During the conversation, the couple discussed selling their property to make money, including multiple trailers on the property, amid legal issues.
The call also revealed that the two had large bills and owed a person named Gail thousands of dollars.
Back in March, Page Six exclusively reported that Joseph asked a Florida court to modify the terms of a no-contact order with the alleged victim in a child sexual abuse case.
The “19 Kids and Counting” alum did so because the order prohibits her from managing any of the six properties she owns.
“The continuation of the no-contact order in its current form raises the issue of defendant’s inability to maintain the property described herein,” he explained in court documents.
He clarified that it does not require “contact with the alleged victim” or to be “within 500 feet of the alleged victim.” The former TLC star claimed that the alleged victim “abandoned the property” that was previously listed in the no-contact order. The judge denied the request at a June 16 hearing.
Joseph was arrested and charged in Florida on March 18 with lewd and lascivious acts with a victim under 12 years of age and lewd and lascivious acts with a person over 18 years of age.
He was taken to Florida and pleaded not guilty during his court appearance.
The incident allegedly occurred in 2020 when a 9-year-old girl was on vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Joseph was also indicted on charges from his home state of Arkansas, including four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment on March 20.
Kendra faced similar charges and was released on bail after turning herself in.
Kendra stands by her husband despite the accusations, as Page Six obtained footage of the couple being summoned to jail, promising to maintain a united front.
