Lindsay Hubbard gave Amanda Batula a brutal ultimatum in an unaired scene from Summerhouse: The Aftermath.
“Didn’t watch/didn’t edit. I told Amanda at the end of that conversation that in order to be friends with me, she needed to show ‘integrity, character, and better decision-making skills’ to her friend,” Hubbard revealed via thread after Tuesday’s bonus episode.
“And until that happens…unfortunately, there is no place for people like that in my life.”
The special featured the two women emotionally discussing Batula and West Wilson’s shocking romance.
During the acrimonious conversation, Ms. Batula claimed that Ms. Wilson had “pursued” her, not the other way around.
However, Hubbard gave a different account of events, revealing that Wilson had told co-star Ciara Miller that Batula was “obsessed with him” and “someone who’s obsessed with him.”
“How awful is that? That’s funny,” the swimsuit designer replied with disdain.
Batula said Wilson was “aggressively messaging” her in a group chat to hang out with her, but she always declined his invitations. She also showed Hubbard the message.
Later in the conversation, Batula admitted that it was “selfish” for her to enter into a relationship with Wilson, 31, even though she had previously dated her ex-best friend, Miller.
Batula explained that after her marriage to Kyle Cooke ended, she felt “euphoric” from spending time with Wilson, but found it difficult to “think rationally or logically about things like that.”
Their conversation ended with Hubbard telling Batula that Wilson “has to go” and Batula agreeing with her.
The “Summer House” bonus episode, filmed in the weeks following the April 23 reunion, also featured a roundtable discussion between Wilson and Cook, as well as Miller and another of Wilson’s exes, Maya Moreno.
Batula and Wilson have been dating their co-stars since they revealed their secret relationship in March after weeks of speculation.
Despite the backlash, and contrary to Hubbard’s ultimatum, the couple still appears to be on track.
The conversation between Hubbard and Batula was filmed on May 13, and two weeks later, Batula went on a trip to Italy with Wilson.
The two were spotted flaunting their relationship several times during their trip.
After the reunion, news broke that Wilson would not be returning for Season 11 of Summer House, which begins filming over the Fourth of July weekend.
Batula’s future on the Bravo show remains uncertain.
