Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal prison sentence has been reduced once again.
The embattled music mogul is scheduled for release on February 23, 2028, Page Six confirmed on Tuesday.
The 56-year-old disgraced rapper was initially sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025 after being found guilty on two counts of transporting for the purpose of prostitution.
His original release date was May 8, 2028, but it was pushed back to June 4 of the same year in November 2025.
The backlash was blamed on Combs violating multiple prison rules, including making three-way phone calls and consuming “homemade alcohol.”
However, Page Six exclusively revealed in March that Combs had his sentence reduced by six weeks.
At the time, his new release date was April 25, 2028, a change likely related to Combs’ acceptance into a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
His representative said, “Mr. Combs is an active participant in a residential substance abuse program and has been committed to the rehabilitation process from the beginning. He is fully committed to his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change.”
Combs’ sentence was later commuted again to April 15th.
A representative for Combs did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on the latest cuts.
Lawyers for the Grammy Award winner filed an appeal in December of last year against his conviction and sentencing for July 2025, and continued to fight for it in his March filing.
Lawyers called the situation a “perversion of justice” and called for Combs’ “immediate release and acquittal, or at least his release and remand.”
Meanwhile, federal prosecutors are asking the court to dismiss the appeal, which is still pending.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He was acquitted of the more serious charges after a lengthy trial.
