Travis Kelce did not accompany his soon-to-be wife, Taylor Swift, to Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday night as she was in Kansas City, Missouri to participate in a mandatory three-day minicamp.
Swift was instead joined by longtime friends Este and Alana Haim, who sat courtside with Ben Stiller, Hailey Bieber, Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet and other notable Knicks fans.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his teammates will begin training at the University of Kansas Health System Training Complex on Tuesday and will finish on Thursday.
It’s likely for the same reason that Kelsey, 36, also missed the Toy Story 5 premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Swift, also 36, made a surprise appearance there in an off-the-shoulder, crystal-embellished dress that turned heads.
The pop superstar contributed a new original song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” to the Pixar sequel.
But her contribution to Wednesday’s event was purely supportive.
“She’s a huge Knicks fan and really wants to be there to cheer. She’s going with her friends,” a source exclusively told Page Six hours before tipoff for the highly anticipated New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs game.
It was also revealed that the halftime show performers will be the Wu-Tang Clan.
Swift and Kelce, who turned Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland, Ohio last month into a date night, will soon be reunited under the roof at MSG, as Page Six previously reported that they planned to wed there over the weekend of July 3rd.
When it came to choosing the venue for their high-profile wedding, a source told Page Six that “privacy was of utmost importance to the couple.”
In fact, the musician reportedly called her and her NFL star guests to personally invite them to keep the details private and avoid any further potential leaks before the big day.
The two got engaged in August 2025 after dating for two years.
