Morgan Wallen’s shady behavior at a concert on his “Still the Problem” tour continued Friday, when he snatched a security guard’s cell phone from her hand and threw it across the stage.
The country singer didn’t seem happy about being recorded by a security guard during a show at Pittsburgh’s Acrizier Stadium. A video taken by a concertgoer shows a security guard recording Wallen singing with his hands behind his back.
Warren first gestured to the security guard before walking away, but then returned and snatched the phone from the security guard’s hands. He then dramatically threw it onto the stage.
According to TikTok user jcroo419, who posted a video of the incident, a fan handed the phone to a security guard who handed it to Warren, who then “activated it.”
“Okay…security should do security things, but…” the user wrote.
Page Six reached out to Warren’s representatives, but did not immediately receive a response.
Warren, 33, abruptly canceled his upcoming show in Pittsburgh on Saturday, but said it was because of the weather and not “nonsense” rumors about him.
“This morning, my team got on the bus and was told that we should cancel tonight’s show in Pittsburgh because they were consulting with local authorities, and I said, ‘Why?'” he said in a video posted to his Instagram Stories.
“I was told there would be high winds in the area, but I said, ‘Okay.’ So that’s what I did in that moment and I trusted the team,” he continued.
Warren explained that she had a big stage to play and that given the circumstances, it “could be deadly” to those around her.
“I just wanted to clear the air because I’ve been seeing a lot of nonsense about me that is completely untrue,” he said.
The cancellation was announced just days after Warren had an onstage meltdown during a performance in Denver. While singing his song “Sand in My Boots”, the piano appeared to malfunction, forcing him to finish the song a cappella.
He then returned to the piano and pushed it about a foot before flipping it over and breaking it.
The next day, he joked about the incident in a TikTok video, showing himself with a new piano.
“Hey, I want you to know, this piano is working right now,” he said, adding sarcastically, “That’s what you said last night, too.”
