Kim Kardashian has been accused of being “rude” for ignoring an iconic reporter at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix.
On Sunday, Sky Sports reporter Martin Brundle, known for his popular grid walk interviews, approached the Skims co-founder and his sister Khloe Kardashian if they could do a quick interview before the start of the race.
In a video shared online, Brundle asked Kim, 45, how her day was going, and Kim ignored her and looked away.
While Brundle told someone to “don’t push me”, a man who appeared to be an F1 employee whispered something to the Kardashian family.
“Normally people would have a quick chat with us. Are you enjoying F1?” Brundle asked Kim, who waved but did not answer the question.
The All’s Fair actress and Chloe, 41, then left with their entourage.
“That’s why I’m not talking today,” a disappointed Brundle told viewers.
Fans criticized the awkward encounter with Kim on social media.
One user tweeted: “How rude of Kim Kardashian? Brundle was there to ask a question and she looked at the guy to see if Brundle was worth talking to. Poor. #F1 #Monaco.”
He added: “Some ‘celebrities’ need to get a grip on the F1 grid walk. If they don’t want to chat, they should be kicked out. Attention Kim Kardashian. Martin Brundle is his usual funny self (lol).”
“Kim Kardashian isn’t good enough to talk to Martin Brundle. What a complete lack of class,” a third person claimed.
“Didn’t we all know that Kim Kardashian would refuse to talk to Martin Brundle? Famous for having no imports at all, unable to hold an umbrella herself, she ignores Martin when talented athletes and international actors hug him. She has no place on our grid,” a fourth netizen from X wrote.
However, several other fans defended Kim’s decision not to do an interview with Brundle.
“I never expected WAGS to be interviewed. No matter how bold Brundle is or how famous Kim is, no one has the right to force a driver’s loved ones on camera. Let’s leave it at that,” one supporter tweeted.
“By the way, Brundle and his intention to hate Lewis (Hamilton) did this on purpose. He knew Kim didn’t want to talk. Security was blocking him. He respects that with others, but he went out of his way to create drama with her? Terrible mean man,” another wrote.
“People always find something about someone that they want to know. Was she aware of it? Literally looks like she wasn’t,” said a third user.
Page Six reached out to Kim’s representatives for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
Kim and Khloe arrived in Monaco by boat on Friday wearing coordinating outfits supporting Hamilton, also 41.
The mother of four and F1 racing driver first sparked dating rumors in February.
