Queen Elizabeth’s grandson Peter Phillips is married again.
Peter exchanged vows with his current wife, Harriet Sperling, on Saturday in a quiet ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble, in the Cotswolds area of Gloucestershire, England, People reported.
The happy couple wed in front of several members of the royal family, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince William and Duchess Kate, and Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie.
Peter’s mother Princess Anne and her husband Lieutenant General Timothy Lawrence were also in attendance, as was Peter’s sister Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall.
It is notable that Prince Harry, Peter’s uncle Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were not invited to the family event.
Earlier this week, royal commentator Emily Nash exclusively told Page Six that Prince Harry was left off the guest list due to his lack of relationship with Peter, 48.
“I think it comes down to relationships, right?” Nash said. “What we were told was that Peter hadn’t spoken to Harry in a few years, so naturally there was a cooling off, and as a result he wasn’t invited.”
Still, Nash said that despite the disdain, Peter is “very good friends” with Prince Harry.
“(Peter) is very loyal, very protective. He’s been a very good sounding board for his cousin over the years,” Nash said.
“So it makes perfect sense that I think if the two Welsh brothers had come there, there would have been a completely different slant to the whole event.”
“And that’s not what you want on what’s supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right?” she added.
Peter was married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 until their split in 2020, making him the first of the Queen’s grandchildren to remarry. He is the father of two daughters, Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, both of whom he shares with Kelly.
Harriet was previously married to fitness instructor Antonio St. John Sperling. They have a 13-year-old daughter, Georgina. All three girls attended the wedding.
