Halle Berry and ex Gabriel Aubry both attended their daughter Nahla’s high school graduation after years of fighting in court over child support.
At Thursday’s ceremony, the 59-year-old actress was spotted walking with her fiancé, musician Van Hunt, wearing a black blouse, blue jeans and shades.
The model, 49, was seen leaving the ceremony separately, wearing a gray suit, white sneakers and sunglasses.
The former lovers were together for five years, from 2005 to 2010.
After separating after welcoming their now 18-year-old daughter, Berry and Aubrey reached a custody agreement in 2012 that gave them equal parenting time.
But the “X-Men” actress and Canadian cover star has since found herself embroiled in a bitter child support dispute.
In 2014, a Los Angeles court ordered Berry to pay Aubrey $16,000 a month in child support until then-six-year-old Nahla turns 19 or graduates from high school.
In 2021, the amount was reduced to $8,000 per month.
However, Ms. Berry then had to pay Ms. Aubrey an additional 4.3 percent of her annual salary in excess of $1.95 million.
Early in Aubrey’s long legal battle, a physical altercation occurred between the Runway star and Berry’s then-husband, Olivier Martinez.
Berry and Martinez married in 2013 but broke up in 2015 after five years together.
Berry and Martinez have a son, Maceo, 12.
The “living” alum also endured a bitter custody battle with Mr. Martinez.
In 2024, the “Crime 101” star claimed in court documents that she spent nearly $250,000 co-parenting with the 60-year-old French actor.
“I have worked with Olivier, communicated with him, and done everything possible to involve him in the decision-making process regarding my son in an amicable manner,” Berry wrote in a statement at the time.
The “Monster’s Ball” actress initially agreed to have joint custody in 2023 before filing for sole custody in 2024.
“As Olivier advised the court, he lives on my child support and in order to pay child support I have to go to work. I cannot afford to take months off,” she added sternly.
Despite her rocky relationship with the father of her children, Berry has continued romantic relationships.
The actress has been in a relationship with Van Hunt since 2020.
Berry was previously married to baseball player David Justice from 1993 to 1997 and singer Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005.
